Other organisations, some in England, some on-line and some international, also organise events and courses.

Training opportunities may be relevant to translators/interpreters in Wales.World wide translation and interpreting courses can sometimes be more specialised or offer more subject diversity. Travel logistics might not always be suitable, however looking at what others offer as training will give an insight into how other translators/interpreters handle their work.

The Institute of Translating and Interpreting offer their own CDP training, and they also have an online diary of international events which anyone can add to.

The Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) is a UK-based professional membership body for language practitioners. It also offers its own workshops.

eCPD webinars is a company that organises professional webinars for the ITI and other language professionals. Anyone can register for their courses and most are an hour or half hour long.
